With a total of 73 points, ENGIE Deutschland is among the top three percent of all companies in the peer group assessed by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is the largest global collaboration platform for business partners to share information on the sustainability performance of their supply chains. It is used globally as an important benchmark in the assessment of companies. The platform enables companies to measure and compare the sustainability performance of their suppliers across 220 industries and 180 countries. Many customers of the ENGIE Group use this platform to assess ENGIE as a supplier. ENGIE itself also uses EcoVadis to assess the sustainability performance of its suppliers. The ESG experts at EcoVadis analyze the company's disclosures, supporting documents and other evidence of its sustainability strategy. The assessment method is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Index (GRI), the ISO 26000 standard and the principles of the Global Compact.
