Eric Stab began his career in 1991 in one of ENGIE's predecessor companies. He held various management positions in Germany (Gaz de France Germany, GASAG), France (Head of Sales Europe) and Great Britain, where he was Managing Director of the energy sales and power generation subsidiary of Gaz de France from 2004 to 2008. He was subsequently appointed Director of GDF SUEZ's energy activities in Eastern Europe, initially based in Austria and then in Romania. He held this regional role until 2021. He was also President and CEO of ENGIE Romania from 2010 to 2023.
Since 2021 he has headed ENGIE's Networks Europe division. In June 2023, he was appointed Country Manager of ENGIE for Germany and Chairman of the Board of ENGIE Deutschland AG.
Katrin Fuhrmann studied international economics at the University of Maastricht and at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Lausanne. She also completed her Master of Arts in European Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Born in Cologne, she began her career in 2005 as a consultant at McKinsey & Company; in 2007 she moved to BNP Paribas Fortis as an energy analyst. Since 2009 she has held various positions in the ENGIE Group, initially as Senior Carbon Analyst, then as Head of Carbon Trading and as an electricity trader for Northwest Europe. Since 2020, Katrin Fuhrmann has been Head of Origination with responsibility for energy management activities in Germany and Poland.
Niklas Wiegand joined the management of ENGIE Deutschland GmbH on November 1, 2023 and took on the role of CEO Energy Solutions on January 1, 2024. Niklas Wiegand and Eric Stab are responsible for the management of ENGIE Deutschland GmbH.
Niklas Wiegand comes from the Bilfinger Group, where he has helped shape the restructuring and transformation process from a construction company to an industrial service provider over the past few years; most recently as Head of Germany with around 5,000 employees. After completing his banking apprenticeship, the businessman studied in Koblenz, Toronto, Lille and Harvard and then worked in banking and industry.
Anne Bosser joined the ENGIE group in 2019 as Chief Business Development Officer for North, East and Central Europe. In 2022 she was appointed Vice President Projects and Business Development Renewables Europe. A French native, Anne holds an Engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France), a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT (USA). She started her career in the telecommunications industry before moving to General Electric in 2002. Over the next 13 years she held positions of increasing responsibility in Finance, Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions. In 2015 she joined GE Power and the integration team overseeing the Alstom acquisition and subsequently took a CFO role within GE Grid Solutions.
