Our management team consists of experienced and qualified managers who are committed to the vision and values of our company.
Eric Stab, Chairman of the Board of ENGIE Deutschland AG & Head of Networks Europe, ENGIE
Eric Stab began his career in 1991 in one of ENGIE's predecessor companies. He held various management positions in Germany (Gaz de France Germany, GASAG), France (Head of Sales Europe) and Great Britain, where he was Managing Director of the energy sales and power generation subsidiary of Gaz de France from 2004 to 2008. He was subsequently appointed Director of GDF SUEZ's energy activities in Eastern Europe, initially based in Austria and then in Romania. He held this regional role until 2021. He was also President and CEO of ENGIE Romania from 2010 to 2023.
Since 2021 he has headed ENGIE's Networks Europe division. In June 2023, he was appointed Country Manager of ENGIE for Germany and Chairman of the Board of ENGIE Deutschland AG.
Bernd Dinauer, Board Member of ENGIE Deutschland AG & Managing Director of ENGIE Energy Management Solution GmbH
Bernd Dinauer has been working for the ENGIE Group in various management positions for 11 years, including as Head of ABT Trading in Brussels. As Managing Director of ENGIE Energy Management Solutions GmbH EEMS, he is responsible for the GEMS division in Germany. This includes, among other things, the organization of PPAs, BESS and full supply for industrial companies and municipal utilities, but also the complete processing of contracts.
Before moving to ENGIE, the industrial clerk worked for years at the Swiss energy company EGL AG (now AXPO) in Dietikon, including as Head of Trading Central & Central East.
Ralf Schürkamp, Board Member of ENGIE Deutschland AG & Managing Director of ENGIE Deutschland Erneuerbare GmbH
Ralf Schürkamp has a degree in business mathematics and a degree in environmental technology and looks back on decades of experience in the field of renewable energies. Before moving to ENGIE in 2020, he held numerous management positions at Innogy and RWE, among others.
At ENGIE he is responsible for all activities in the field of renewable energies in Germany. This includes the development and implementation of onshore wind farms and ground-mounted PV systems, the operation of ENGIE's German wind farms and the Pfreimd power plant group, a combined run-of-river and pumped storage hydroelectric power plant.
Niklas Wiegand, Board Member of ENGIE Deutschland AG & Managing Director of ENGIE Deutschland GmbH
Niklas Wiegand joined the management of ENGIE Deutschland GmbH on November 1, 2023 and took on the role of CEO Energy Solutions on January 1, 2024. Niklas Wiegand and Eric Stab are responsible for the management of ENGIE Deutschland GmbH.
Niklas Wiegand comes from the Bilfinger Group, where he has helped shape the restructuring and transformation process from a construction company to an industrial service provider over the past few years; most recently as Head of Germany with around 5,000 employees. After completing his banking apprenticeship, the businessman studied in Koblenz, Toronto, Lille and Harvard and then worked in banking and industry.
