Energy saving contracting in two buildings of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
As part of an energy saving contract (ESC), buildings from the pharmacy and mathematics/physics faculties were optimized energetically on the campus of the University of Tübingen: The old and partially obsolete ventilation components were replaced, thus creating the prerequisites for demand-controlled operation of the HVAC systems via occupancy sensors or CO2 sensors. In addition, the entire MSR technology was renewed. In one of the buildings, a highly efficient heat recovery system was retrofitted with an additional utilization of the refrigeration machine waste heat in the WRG circuit.
