Together for the future: The Würth Group relies on the expertise of ENGIE Deutschland in its state-of-the-art innovation centre
In the Reinhold Würth Innovation Center Curio, more than 250 people work at state-of-the-art workstations and in laboratories on an area of around 15,500 square meters to develop product and system innovations that consume less energy in production and subsequent operation and contribute to the climate neutrality of the Würth Group. To this end, research and development are complemented by practical user knowledge - turning curiosity and expertise into innovations for the trades.
The mixture of future lab and industrial production with new approaches from science requires a high degree of flexibility and great expertise in the interaction of the various trades.
ENGIE Deutschland is planning and implementing the technical building equipment at the Reinhold Würth Innovation Center. This includes all measures relating to HVAC and sanitary facilities - from the complete sanitary equipment in the building and a drinking water separation station for process water generation to special emergency and eye showers for the laboratories. A special feature are the so-called sink electrants, which resemble lawn sprinklers in soccer stadiums and secure the drinking water supply at larger events in a marquee, for example.
