Sustainable reduction of energy costs and CO2 emissions
The Fachklinik Haus Weitenau is an inpatient withdrawal treatment for addicted adolescents and young adults in the middle of the Black Forest with, among other things, a historic monastery and mill building. Prior to the implementation of the energy saving measures, the specialized clinic had a decentralized heating and hot water supply, which was operated with fuel oil. The heat generators and distributors in the entire specialist clinic area were technically outdated and a general renovation was urgently needed. In addition, there were significant savings potential in the lighting and hot water sectors.
