The data center of Amadeus Data Processing GmbH is located in Erding near Munich. The aim of the project was to deliver better performance while improving the energy efficiency of the data center. The solution: The QUANTUM from ENGIE Refrigeration with its excellent partial load behaviour, the oil-free storage and the resulting low maintenance, as well as the special quiet running and a starting behaviour without current peaks.

Our services

Amadeus Data Processing GmbH has a cooling requirement of approx. 4 MW, depending on the outside temperatures and uses, among other things, several QUANTUM refrigeration machines, which take over central tasks:

Two water-cooled QUANTUM W165 refrigeration machines are located in the energy center and are directly responsible for the cooling supply of the data center.
The other two X060 QUANTUM refrigeration machines are responsible for the climate control of the data center and the office buildings. The decisive factor was that QUANTUM can score points with exceptionally quiet operation: Low noise and vibration levels are important because the plant rooms are directly adjacent to the offices.

ENGIE Refrigeration's service offering is rounded off by a comprehensive maintenance contract for QUANTUM refrigeration machines.
