Lindau, December 17, 2020 - The "dka - die kälte-akademie" ("dka - the cooling academy") (dka) from ENGIE Refrigeration starts 2021 with a new concept: In addition to presentations, the academy program provides for the first time several online seminars on energy-efficient cooling and heat generation. Customers and interested specialists will thus benefit from an even wider range of topics in the future.
In recent months, ENGIE Refrigeration has positioned itself well digitally: For example, the specialist for refrigeration and heating technology conducted the popular efficiency forums with Condair in virtual setting – with record attendance and consistently positive response. ENGIE Refrigeration builds on this success and offers a series of online training courses for the first time as part of the dka from January 2021. "The Corona pandemic has shifted learning and working more into the digital world. We would like to use this opportunity at dka to enable even more interested parties to access our cooling and heating training courses through our online offer than before," says Manfred Hofmann, trainer dka. In the first quarter of the year, three highly topical subjects will be on the agenda at two different dates: "Current refrigerant situation in the EU", "Laws and regulations in refrigeration technology" and "Energy saving measures for refrigeration machines and heat pumps". A greater number of places are available at all events than at the dka's events. Any travel time and costs for the participants are completely eliminated. What remains the same, however, is that all seminars have a high level of expertise and answer key questions from the current refrigeration market.
In addition, dka will continue to offer the "Refrigeration Basic Course", the "Refrigeration Advanced Course" and the seminar "Quantum – Oil-Free Compressor Technology" at two classroom meetings in Lindau on Lake Constance. "While we focus on the theoretical knowledge transfer in the dka online offering, tthe classroom events also focus on practice. For example, in the basic and advanced course on refrigeration, a practical part at the vocational school in Lindau is part of the program, while the QUANTUM training includes a factory visit at ENGIE Refrigeration; We are not able to adequately display these in a digital format," explains Manfred Hofmann. In addition, the two- to three-and-a-half-day face-to-face training courses are each completed with an exam and a participant certificate. Of course, all events take place in compliance with the applicable protection and hygiene measures.
ENGIE Refrigeration has been providing professional know-how on the trends and latest technologies in refrigeration and heat generation at dka for many years. The seminar offer is aimed at operators of refrigeration systems and heat pumps, planners, engineers and employees of public sector companies.
