Cologne/Essen - Since 2015, ENGIE Deutschland has been ensuring the flawless and continuous technical availability of the building services systems in around 125 Dehner stores throughout Germany. And with great success: Dehner, Europe's leading garden center group, is now relying on the technical service of the experts from ENGIE’s Essen branch for another five years. They manage a nationwide team of technical service staff who provide all services in the field of technical building management for the Dehner locations - from sanitary and fire protection technology to heating, ventilation and refrigeration technology, electrical engineering, security technology and materials handling technology. The specialists at ENGIE Deutschland are also responsible for the fault and emergency service: The team deals with a total of 12,000 maintenance, fault and emergency messages per year; around 6,800 of these are for regular maintenance work in accordance with the currently applicable technical regulations and codes. In addition, the ENGIE team ensures personal proximity to the individual sites through regular visits to the garden centers of the family-owned company, which are distributed throughout Germany. Christian Munsch, branch manager at ENGIE and responsible for the contract, emphasizes: "At ENGIE Deutschland, we attach particular importance to ensuring that our customers feels well looked after in all matters relating to the technical facility management of their stores. Dehner can always rely on maximum functionality of its technical systems and at the same time on maximum cost security. Personal contact and regular exchange are crucial for us in this regard."
In addition to maximum functionality, the Dehner Group is particularly concerned with the trouble-free availability of building technology systems. In order to avoid negative effects on the sensitive flora and fauna of the garden centers, the Dehner team from ENGIE Germany is on standby around the clock to process fault reports as quickly and effectively as possible. Ulf Honndorf, Head of Facility Management at Dehner Holding GmbH & Co. KG, explains another special feature of the partnership: "After almost eight years, ENGIE Deutschland knows our German garden centers inside out and has the ideal data basis for developing customized solutions for our locations. This makes it much easier for us to calculate costs and open new stores quickly. We are therefore looking forward to further cooperation."
