Cologne/Berlin - Katrin Fuhrmann was appointed Management Board Member for Energy Management of ENGIE Deutschland AG (EDAG) on November 13, 2024. She has also assumed the position of Managing Director of ENGIE Energy Management Solutions GmbH (EEMS). In both functions, she succeeds Bernd Dinauer. He has built up and successfully led the activities of EEMS since 2018 and will now be responsible for a new management role in the international environment of the ENGIE Group.
Katrin Fuhrmann studied International Economics at the University of Maastricht and at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Lausanne. She also completed her Master of Arts in European Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Born in Cologne, she began her career in 2005 as a consultant at McKinsey & Company; In 2007, she moved to BNP Paribas Fortis as an energy analyst. Since 2009, she has held various positions in the ENGIE Group, first as Senior Carbon Analyst, then as Head of Carbon Trading and as Electricity Trader for Northwest Europe. Since 2020 Katrin Fuhrmann has been Head of Origination with responsibility for energy management activities in Germany and Poland.
